Event Details

jhr (Journalists for Human Rights) invites all of you to join us for #tweet4rights - An Evening of Rights Media. It's a chance to mix and mingle with the local online and offline community while discussing the incredible potential that various social media tools have in raising and spreading the awareness that is so necessary for mobilizing change.

The night will feature a short presentation by Education Specialist Carissa MacLennan on the concept of Rights Media -- the process of writing, collecting, producing, and distributing media that creates societal dialogue on human rights issues -- and how it fits into the social media context.

It will be held at The Cryptic Canvas Art Gallery, a hidden gem in Toronto. And by hidden...we really mean hidden. It is located on 8 Waterloo Terrace and to get there be sure to come from Adelaide St. West and turn into Adelaide Place for free parking.

So join us for a night filled with food, drinks, and great conversations!

Hope to see you all there!
